Thomas Mazzant is an exceptionally well rounded and experienced Registered Nurse in the Healthcare Delivery System. He has a tremendous level of professional experience and a strong educational background. Mr. Mazzant began his nursing career close to 20 years ago. His clinical experience provides a strong foundation for the services that can be offered. He has experience in the Emergency Department, Pediatric ER, Pediatrics, Acute Care Hospitals, Home Care, Specialist Care Settings, Education, and Leadership. He has a strong foundation of managing, investigating, and resolving clinical practice concerns from his leadership and education time in the hospitals. These experiences are very valuable to the attorney-client case. Mr. Mazzant is a well respected member of the nursing community with a large professional network. His professional education includes: Registered Nurse from Heritage Valley Sewickley Nursing School, Bachelors in Nursing from University of Phoenix, and Master’s Degree in Nursing from LaRoche University. He holds professional certifications as a CPN (Certified Pediatric Nurse); NPD-BC (Nursing Professional Development Board Certified); Management Skills and Leadership Development (Master Certificate in Business Development) and CLNC (Certified Legal Nurse Consultant). He maintains his credentialing with American Heart (AHA) for BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Mr. Mazzant looks forward to serving you and being on your side today.

Barbara Mazzant, RN, serves as Chief Operating Officer of Mazzant Exceptional Legal Nursing and Professional Nursing Consult Services, bringing more than 40 years of distinguished nursing experience to the organization. Throughout her career, Barbara has demonstrated exceptional leadership, clinical expertise, and a steadfast commitment to delivering the highest standards of professional nursing care.

Her extensive background includes leadership roles, Labor and Delivery nursing, and Women’s Services, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of complex clinical environments, patient care, nursing practice, and healthcare operations. Barbara’s experience enables her to bring valuable clinical insight, professionalism, and attention to detail to every consulting engagement.

Lauren Mazzant, BBA, CNA

Chief Strategy Officer

Lauren Mazzant serves as Chief Strategy Officer of Mazzant Exceptional Legal Nursing and Professional Nursing Consult Services, bringing more than 20 years of hands-on healthcare experience and a strong foundation in business strategy. Her extensive background as a Certified Nursing Assistant includes experience in Pediatric, Acute Care, and Long-Term Care settings, giving her a broad and practical understanding of patient care, healthcare operations, and the needs of patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, complementing her clinical experience with valuable knowledge in business, leadership, organizational development, and strategic planning. Her unique combination of healthcare experience and business expertise allows her to approach each initiative with both compassion and a results-driven perspective.
